Or course, “It” is behavioral health and the pursuit of sustainable recovery and well-being, for those challenged and their loved ones, because these issues affect each one of us in one way or another. Each of us on our team is in recovery, as someone affected from behavioral health challenges, or being a loved one of someone who is. We have felt the frustration, embarrassment, humiliation and shed the tears – so many tears. We learned that recovery is possible and we want to reach out to those who are still struggling, still lost and not knowing where to turn. You are invited to read our Mission and Purpose Statements in order to see how we intend to do that. And, we invite you to join us because the elephant in the room is not just ours, it’s everyone’s.
Let’s step out of the shadows and begin to celebrate recovery. Let’s lead those who are still challenged to attaining their own cause for celebration.
